Coolum
COASTAL CLASSIC WITH A CONTEMPORARY EDGE
Built over three levels on a hillside at Coolum Beach including a rooftop balcony, this spectacular house enjoys 180-degree panoramic coastal views stretching from Noosa’s eastern beaches – Sunshine Beach, Sunrise Beach, Peregian Beach – to Alexandra Headland.
A Master Builders Queensland Housing Awards winner in the Housing for Sloping Sites category, this house offers every luxury with its natural timbers and expansive glass perfectly reflecting its seaside location.
A modern, stylish and spacious beach house
Built by Braeden Constructions on a challenging site that falls 12 metres over its 40-metre depth, replacing a pre-existing run-down dwelling, this impressive four-bedroom, three-bathroom abode was built with three generations in mind: its permanent residents, plus comfortably accommodating their children and grandchildren when visiting.
With a contemporary edge to Chris Clout’s building design, the façade has an effective colour palette and is finished in quality materials while the swimming pool’s Greek lavastone feature wall is a stunning feature.
A curved marble staircase with frameless glass balustrades and custom-made timber handrail is a centrepiece of a free-flowing open-plan interior which benefits from a bright and pleasant atmosphere crafted through the combination of the use of light tones, its generous expanse, glass doors, large windows and portholes.
Essentially circular skylights that create snapshot views throughout the house, the portholes are illuminated with LED strip lighting and combine with feature lighting, ensuring the house is even more impressive at night.
Other elements of this luxury Coolum beach house construction project included installing a lift, a home automation and entertainment system, and motorised louvres and blinds.
